Budweiser Tour - 1,048 miles logged

We stayed in Ft Collins, Colorado another day.  This is just a beautful city.  A lot smaller than Denver, so not as much traffic.  We did the Budweiser tour today.  We learned way too much information about the beer making process, as well as some facts.  For example, this plant makes 11.1 millions gallon of beer a day, which is equivilant to 7,680 kegs of beer!  The grounds are a lot prettier than the grounds in St Louis.  The horses were in their pens, they just got back from a road trip.  Dad did great walking this tour, it was a mile walk, and he kept right up.  Our tour guide "rushed" us right along, and dad kept up.  It did help that we told him he'd get beer at the end of the tour.

Denver - Coors Field Tour

We left Colorado Springs and headed north to Denver.  Dain really, really wanted to tour the stadium and get a hat!  Downtown Denver is pretty neat, busy but cool.  We made it in time for the last tour of the day, with 5 minutes to spare.  Dain & I did the tour, mom & dad hung out at the local pub.

After the "QUICK" stop in Denver, we decided to travel north to Fort Collins.  We went downtown for dinner, this place is pretty neat.  I have a feeling we will be staying here for a few days.  There's shops, historic district & BIKES GALORE.  This is a true biking community.  We may not come back to AZ.  More on Fort Collins later, it's bedtime, busy day tomorrow!

Seven Falls - Colorado Springs

We visited this great park today.  Seven Falls - named for the seven falls that cascade off the mountain.  You can get to the top of these falls by either climbing stairs or taking an elevator.  Mom and dad took the elevator, Dain & I took the stairs.  The pictures we got don't give this place justice.  It is GREAT.  We even got to get in a hike.  Mom and dad took in the sites of the various gift shops and we hiked a few trails.  Check out the Seven Falls website by clicking here: http://www.sevenfalls.com/
